Volunteer
Your support is essential to our success and makes a difference for the future generation of scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians who will change our world and the way we understand it.
IMPORTANT - the exhibit hall is big so there will be a lot of walking. WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES!

Monday - Set Up the Exhibit Hall
On Monday, volunteers are needed to help set up the exhibit hall. Tables and chairs are delivered and set up by the Expo Center before our volunteers arrive at 10:00 AM. We are usually finished between 2 - 3 PM. The following tasks need to be completed on Monday:
-
cover tables with white paper
-
attach table tags at each of the displays
-
post directional signage
-
set up the supply table
Tuesday - Check In and Review Student Projects
On Tuesday, students check in and set up their projects between 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Many volunteers are needed throughout the day, so any block of time you are available will be greatly appreciated.
Although a STEM background will be helpful, it is NOT NECESSARY. All volunteers will be guided through the process, and detailed instructions and materials will be provided.
Check In - Students check in with the front table to receive their folder. Volunteers share some instructions and important notes, and then students set up their projects.
Display & Safety Review - After students set up their projects, a Display & Safety volunteer must review it. This ensures it is set up in the proper location, posts necessary forms, cites the use of AI (if applicable) and adheres to all safety regulations.

Thursday - Awards Assembly
The Awards Ceremony begins at 5:30 PM and usually lasts until 9:00 PM. Volunteers are needed to help sort and organize any awards that were not picked up during the ceremony. Volunteers will not be on stage distributing awards.
